The Retis Lab at SSSA has strong competences on real-time operating systems, and real-time schedulability analysis, especially in the area of adaptive real-time systems. In particular, recent research work has been directed to architectures, analysis and implementations for soft real-time systems, and adaptive and reconfigurable real-time systems.

The group will contribute to the project in the area of QoS management for adaptive embedded real-time applications. In addition, the Retis lab will also contribute to schedulability analysis, techniques for multiprocessor scheduling, techniques for synchronization on shared resources.

The group has 4 permanent staff, 2 research assistants and 8 full-time PhD students. Through its results, the group has demonstrated that it has enough resources to carry out research activities in the areas mentioned above. These areas are central to the proposed project activities.
